Every time I use Opera Mini and go through about 5-10 page views it locks up and freezes my phone to the extent of needing a soft reset.  It seems to always happen during the "Connecting." of a page.  I never really used it much with the original ROM but know it has been happening ever since I applied the 10/23 release and now still with the 11/28 release.

Has anyone else had any problems with this or any other java apps and if so do you know of a solution?

I just hope they release Opera Mobile 9 soon :(

Looks like just ran into the same problem with Opera Mini 4 and the new rom.....had to soft reset my phone after it freezing while connecting to a site......I use opera mini 4 more than IE..and no problems while on the 2.09....now that I upgraded to 2.17 it froze up on me ;(hopefully opera mini 4 will get patched to fix the problem...I advised everyone who is having this problem to go to operamini.com and report this problem....hopefully they can patch it up quickly.

I also have troubles with Opera Mini.  I used it just fine with the previous rom and finally decided to upgrade to the new rom a few days ago.  Now using Opera Mini will freeze my phone after several minutes of use.  Has anyone found a work around to this problem? 

I dont like Opera Mobile as much as Mini since it doesn't have the smart zoom feature.

I'm having the same problem, and I know i read somewhere about a fix for it, but i can't remember. Does anyone know how to fix this, because I would really like to be able to use mini on my phone, as i think its one of the best mobile browsers (although I wish it had tabs).
