Wrong... the fact is that if you have that little check mark-on for time sync, Activesync is always on. In my case, I got a much-much better battery life...

Nope... but... I never did put sufficient work in to it. None of the threads I read over a PPCGeeks had conclusive information. I asked (and posted) with no definite success.
