Here is a link to the cab to tether off the new ROM....Apparently Sprint changed the registry to show Phone as Modem Only, but this registry edit changes it to Sprint Only.

I will not be upgrading to Instinct on second thought
In my opinion going to the Sprint Instinct, Verizon Glyde, or Verizon Voyager phones are DOWNGRADING.
1. You can't sync your PIM's to outlook
2. Hassle transferring all your contacts, and no back up software

I agree Gaines, why stry from Windows Mobile. Anyone that gets the Instink, Voyager, or Glyde all have to manually input all of their PIM information which would suck. Then if you want to go back to a Windows based phone you have to manually re-ent...

Its best to use a backup application like Spb Back Up or Sprite Back Up to save all your PIM (Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, notes), Email, and My Documents.
