well, here are a few links. HTC officially announced the Touch Pro (Raphael). This is the true mogul replacement.

What's better about this new phone other then having more memory? Seems like it doesn't really add any new features, aleast from what i read on the htc page. I guess the keyboard is a little bigger since it said it was 5 rows of keys, which is nice. But the screen size is the same. Doesn't really sound like it adds anything new to the mix making it worth buying.

I think a lot of people will feel the same way you do when they see the price tag. But, to answer your question, compared to the Mogul, it will have TouchFlo3D, which is supposed to be faster and smoother than TouchFlo (which I thought never worked very well on the Mogul since it wasn't made for it). It will have a VGA screen which means crisper, higher resolution. It should also have video drivers that work and a 3.2 megapixel camera. Also, TV Out, which should be a nice feature.

There are lots of things that I thought should have been in the Mogul already like
I really cool interface like the TouchFlo, which will handle a lot of the finger friendly add ons that I have had to add to the Mogul. Pictures and video, and email.
On-board GPS and A-GPS (which is faster) standard
A second camera on the phone side for quick personal pick and hopefully someday, video conferencing.
A five row keyboard, so that typing in numbers is not so much of a hassle.
Faster uploads and downloads
Video out for attachment to a projector for presentation or even video glasses.
Some User friendly features like:
The screen auto rotates
When you take out the stylus when the phone is off or sleeping it will turn on assuming you want to use it.
If you are in a call and take out the stylus it will automatically create a note for you for that caller
Proximity auto-focus. If you are taking a picture the camera can sense your approaching finger and auto-focus before you hit the button so you can just take the picture.
I have been waiting for this one as it is all that I felt the Mogul should have been already.
I love my Mogul but this is for me the Mogul Refined. This is an iphone competitor
I hope this helps.
I got a lot of this information from watching the HTC presentations on YouTube for the Diamond with is basically the same phone without a keyboard.

Those all do sound like some cool new features. And if i didn't already own a mogul it would definitely make me want to buy one. But to upgrade from a mogul to that - not likely. Just not worth the price tag to me personally for what are, to me, cool but minor improvements.
What i would like to see them do to improve the mogul is get rid of ALL of the buttons on the front. Maybe keep just the accept/hangup buttons and ditch everything else. And then make the screen bigger since you wont have all that useless plastic in the way.
Maybe it's just me, but i've never used any of those buttons with the exception of the hang up button. And occasionally the answer button ... usually i just use the screen. If they did that you could probably add close to another inch in screen height.
Better screen resolution is nice but doesn't really grab me since i think the resolution now is good enough. I dont watch movies/tv on the mogul and dont really look at too many pictures either. Mainly just web pages - maybe an occasional youtube clip.
bottom line for me is if they offered this to me as a free upgrade or incredibly discounted (like $100 total max) then I might take it. (ok for free i definitely would take it :)

The big feature for me is VGA. I like being able to remote desktop to my home or work machines and high resolution (or at least high-er) makes a huge difference.

really? I love having remote desktop on my phone - i've used it once or twice when a server was having problems and it came in really useful. But i didnt think a higher res would matter on a small screen. Besides, wouldn't a higher vid setting slow down the responsiveness of it?

Higher resolution on the same size screen (or close) means things are smaller, but if you have good eyesight that's not a problem. I know I put my monitors on as high res as they will go.
As for speed, there are a number of new faster data networks being launched such as WiMax. I'm not really concerned about it.

Gaines,
I did not know you could do a remote desktop to your computer from the phone. How does that work? That could be amazing.
