To download files you will Click on the Downloads item on the toolbar.  Scroll thru the files  and click on the DOWNLOAD link to the right of the file name.  You will then get a popup.   

 Finish the download like you normally do.  This shot was taken from a Windows Vista Machine.  Good Luck!

hey, im new to this website and trying to downlaod has been hell for me. i've completed all the steps like you mentioned above. however, when im done downloading the file, it comes up as empty and with a bunch of numbers underneath it and i cant open it. got any suggestions

I have been downloading from the site since August, but for some reason when I do all of the above, sometimes it still does not work and the pop up blocker is turned off.... I get an error 404 message in Firefox and Internet Explorer.  I am Not sure why that happens.

You didnt mention if you were successful at all on any of your attempts.  I will assume you were at some point.  If you are getting a ERROR 404 its that the link is dead for the most part.  Identify the link to Gaines so that he may check it out.

EDIT:  I added a shortcut for the files to the tutorial above.  You can click on that.  Remember if you click on the link and the file doesnt popup then the link is dead.

Yes I was able to download in the past especially when there used to be a download link.

You pointed out that some of the links may be dead, which I found out by trying to download files I already had or didn't need.  I was able to download some programs but not others, it seems to be quite a few that aren't able to be downlaoded.

All right.  So I tried your tips on downloading from this site and am still have problems.  I have tried disabling my popblockers and have used the CTRL key while clicking on the visit tab.  When I do this it opens a new box in internet explorer, which goes directly to my homepage.  Not sure what I am doing wrong.  Any suggestions would be appreciated
