So pretty much all the buttons on my keyboard were going out on my mogul. So i took it up to sprint, and they looked at it, and told me they couldnt fix it. suprise suprise. So they look it up, and tell me the moguls are backordered indefinately. They said, oh, well we can give you the Touch. I said ummm no thanks. So i talked to the manager, and she told me, well since you are a "white glove customer", go ahead and pick out a phone. I picked the Touch Pro, out of stock, and backordered. So to make an already long story short, i ended up with the Touch Diamond for free!

How backorderd was the Touch Pro, did they give you an estimate time? what is a "white glove Customer"?

wouldnt it be dowgrading from a mogul to a diamond? I for one enjoy the physical keyboard and everywhere the mogul was more expensive than the Diamond.

they didnt know how long it was backordered. The Touch Diamond is $600 something with no contract. I LOVE it. I didnt think i would like the no keyboard. but it is very very easy. White Glove is when you have been with them a looooooong time and have never missed a payment etc.

what did you say to the  manager to replace mogul with the diamond?

i just told them, hey i need a phone NOW not in mid to late january. Its for my job, and i cant go without for that long. They were like, well we can give you to HTC touch. And i said hell no, thats not comparable at all. I need something with a keyboard to type emails and documents for my job. So she went and got the supervisor. And she said well, the Touch Pro is also on backorder, so i can give you either the new Palm Treo or the Touch Diamond. I took the Diamond. And so far i love it. Has a Blackberry style keyboard, and i can write and text very easily. Its very small and easy to carry around also.

Same here, Mogul problems and got the Touch Pro. I'm a very BIG Mogul fan, but I'm happy with the TP. I was planning to upgrade to the TP, but this was better!

And yes, I have insurance....

I just went throught the same thing with Ausurion. I placed my order before X-mas. I called them up this morning and the told me i would have to wait another 10 business days to get my Mogul. I told them i couldnt wait that long, so they offered me a Diamond. Due to timing and my need for my phone, i took the Diamond. Hope i like it as much as my Mogul.

yea I was told by a supervisor that the Mogul was done for good, bc im having issues with my phone as well, im going to the store tomorrow for a follow up.

I just went to the Sprint store yesterday and they replaced my Mogul with a Touch Pro. It is a nice upgrade.

I went into a Sprint store 2 weeks ago and they ordered me a replacement Mogul.  The following monday they said try asurion because they don't know when they are getting it.  Asurion also did not know.  Tuesday I call again and they tell me to call wednesday and speak with the supervisor.  Wednesday I called and the supervisor told me to come up and get a new phone.  He had a TP waiting.  I am so glad I had insurance.  For those that have SERO plans you have to speak to the supervisor and have them call in.  The computer system in store does not allow changes for SERO plans.  SO far I love the TP.
