I thought I would provide links to some commonly used software links found on the net for use on our Mogul.  People can PM (private message) me if they want to include a link.

CeRegEditor:  (The CeRegEditor is a registry editor for any device (PDA) based on WindowsCE, PocketPC2003 and WindowsMobile(WM5, WM6) system. It runs on desktop PC but operates on a mobile device.  With this feature user is able to user a normal keyboard, mouse.  Features are:  Navigate and edit(create) registry keys/values.  Fast search.  Export/import keys in REG format.  Management of favourites keys in registry.  "Image" of registry with compare and restore service.  Offline mode - create, edit files as regular device registry.  Support for HV files edition.

HTC Action:  (Create new tasks, SMS, email, appointments, etc.  This must be installed on the device, not the storage card to work.)

HTC Equalizer:  (Adjust the tone level for your speaker & Mic.  After installing, you need to create a shortcut.  Open File Explorer.  Goto \Windows and tap & hold Equalizer.exe.  Select copy.  Now goto \Windows\Start Menu\Programs.  Tap on Menu and select Paste Shortcut.  Optional:  You can tap and hold the new shortcut to rename it to HTC Equalizer if you like.  This is nice since Microsoft Voice Commander recommends turning off Automatic gain Control on the mic.  This program allows you to do that.)

Well, from the descriptions, I see that PHM is strictly a registry editor, while Total Commander does both the registry and file managing. From what it sounds like, and from what I know of Total Commander, it seems to be a more powerful program given its versatility.

Total Commander will also allow you to read the shared folders on your home network.  I don't beleive File Explorer will allow you to do that.

With that one, it sounds like it works on your Mogul through your PC. It offers you the ability to use a full keyboard instead of the Mogul's or instead of using the stylus. Personally, I have no problem using the regular keyboard or the stylus, because the reg edits that I've done have all been pretty miniscule, and I imagine the ones you'll be making will be that way, too.

Seeing Ms survivor's link to changing the housing to the Mogul inspired the following question:

Is is possible to change the type of camera in the Mogul?

If not are there programs that will improve the quality of it's photos?

You can install the Vogue camera from the link below. The only problem is the flash will no longer work as the Vogue doesn't have one. I haven't actually tried it. From the thread some people have said it's better, others said there was little or no difference:
