Did any of you not have insurance. Or were you all within the one year manufactory warranty. I am having a problem with my phone but I do not have insurance.

I had the same happen to me. They came back in last week (touch pro) and they sent me that after having a hinge spring issue.
They ended up just sending the phone and no accessories. I called back and bitched and they are sending out a fresh new one with everything. I consulted my sprint rep about the whole charging me for the phone. Since they were two different ordering systems I may get away with just sending back the mogul and nothing else. Buying an accessory kit on ebay and selling it off to buy a new TV lol.

I am eligible for a full discount on a new phone, both lines. With my second line a ordered a new phone from Sprint, a Rant for my ol' lady. I instead of ordering new for me, I bought a used Mogul off eBay. After a few days I realized the phone was defective, I didn't get mad because have insurance on my account. So I took the Mogul in to the Sprint store after calling advanced tech support. They showed me that if available they would have givin' me a HTC Pro, of course tho sold out. The Mogul being on backorder is true, 4-eva it seems. But what happened to me is that since it was Saturday night, the tech had some Moguls newly / refurbished that were for someone else. He just edited my ticket, gave me the new Mogul and re-ordered another one. Sweet.! I even offered to buy him a case of beer for the great customer service. I can still take it back in for the Pro but, it can wait. My Mogul is shining from the newness.. Sprint has gotten so much better over the years. Love it.

i just got the touch pro as my mogul was getting old(gave it to my ecstatic little girl)it was a great upgrade to the mogul,if you can get your hand on one, get it! way more ram and the new processor is way faster.plus it has a accelerometer good for playing those tilt games, its alot of fun. the phone looks tons better its a bit smaller it comes with opera for the defalt browser.its the best moble browsing ive experienced yeat.battery life well its about the same as the mogul maybe a bit better.if you go to a sprint store they want a two year contract and $400 with $100 mail in rebate.if you go to best buy(i did)they just want the contract and $300 no mail in junk plus they have them in stock.so if your going for the free upgrade go to sprint.if your gana fork out the cash go to best buy:) either way if you liked the mogul youll love this phone.i never thought id find a phone to replace my mogul but this one dose everything it did and more but faster and better.

I just ordered a new phone through Asurion because my Mogul's USB port is messed up and won't charger correctly, or link to my computer. Anyways, I guess they are caught up because they are sending me another Mogul. No $50 Touch Pro for me! It's ok though, I rely heavily on the external hard buttons on my mogul (I use AEbutton Plus) so I wasn't sold on getting a Pro anyhow.

I am going on my fifth defective mogul. two of wich they gave me as already broken refurbished phones lmao. so I called sprint and said its getting stupid. I have a tp on its way in the mail now. I hope its a new phone in the box......that will be the the last straw with sprint if not.

I'm kinda on the fence about caring if it's refurbed or not, but really gets me is the $7 a month AND $50 deductible. That adds up pretty quickly if you have the phone for longer than a year and need a new one.
The first time I got a refurb, I had problems with it (although it turned out to be with my Sprint account, not the phone). I called them and they overnighted me a brand new Mogul with the complete package, just like if you bought it in the store. So if that's big for you, just call and say something is wrong with the refurb. This is especially useful if you plan on selling it and buying something new like a Pro.

needless to say I got effed by sprint. they just put in a ticket for me to go to a sprint store. the notes even had mention of me getting aa tp. supervisor said only thing he can do is give me the full 150 trade in and wave the rebate and have free over night shipping. after I was promised a tp free upgrade. if I didn't just get my wife a dimond I would of just let my contract run out. so I had to pay for it. im switching after this contract is up.

Sorry to hear that. I've learned to expect, and live with, the super crappy customer service I receive from sprint. It's commonplace and there isn't much we can do about it. Unfortunately, not sure you'll have better luck with anyone else.
