I just used Asurion to get my mogul replaced because the keyboard was just crapping out and the port for the charger/headphones was a bit messed up to where if the cord wasn't just right it wouldn't work. So I just get the refurb replacement yesterday and notice the "OK" button on the side under the scroll wheel wasn't working at all. Even after a hard reset. So I call Asurion to report that I got a defective replacement, expecting them to just send me another refurb mogul, which would have been just fine with me. The lady I talked to and said, "Let me guess, It's the blue function button." I told her no and what it was, but that the blue button was actually one of the reasons I returned it in the first place. She kept apologizing and said that since it sounds like it's becoming an epidemic with the mogul, that she was going to express ship me the Touch Pro for free if that was ok with me. I think that is pretty bad a$$. No arguing, no long waits, granted it was Asurion and not Sprint, but that's what I call customer service.

Same thing here. Got my refurb mogul, then called and told them it wasn't working correctly. Brand new Pro get's here tomorrow. They transferred me to a "specialist" who had to break the news softly to me... shucks.
Guess I'll be switching over to the Pro site. Can't beat a $50 new phone! Well, and the $7 a month, but with this being my 3rd phone on insurance, I can't complain... except for the life expectancy is super low on these phones!

I was on the phone with Asurion at 7:30pm last night and had my Touch Pro this afternoon. If only Sprint had customer service this fast the world would be a better place.

Asurion is the insurance company that works with Sprint. When you get the TEP plan (extra insurance), all claims are filed with Asurion, not Sprint.

Yep. I had the same experience. Super fast shipping and great customer service. Almost makes me feel bad for returning my perfectly functioning refurb to get a brand new Pro.

My usb port stopped working and the Mogul wouldn't sync any more. So I took it into the Sprint store and they ordered me a new Mogul. Three days later I picked it up, left the store and then discovered, lo and behold, 4 or 5 keys on the keyboard didn't even work (the blue function key, space key, period, etc.) So I took it immediately back in expecting them to say they had run out of Moguls (as others on this forum have experienced) and give me a new phone. But I guess refurb Moguls are available again so they set me up with yet another one. They explained to me that they aren't new any more but refurbished. This "new" one has some key problems too and it sounds like the thing to do is call Asurion? All I get from the Sprint store is more disfunctional units...

What would you expect from Sprint. I do whatever I possibly can to never, ever, enter a Sprint Repair store.
Do you have insurance? That's the only way you could call Assurion. Did Sprint charge you a $50 deductible? If so, deal with Assurion. They'll get you set up.

You are right! I called Asurion and they are replacing the phone with a new HTC TP straight away. Wish I had called them from the start and saved hours of driving to and from the Sprint store several times. Paying the deductible was worth it but really Sprint should have done the same thing for free instead of giving me a string of defective units (at no charge). Thanks for the help!
