Hello, new user here.

When trying to disable the SMS notification, I don't see a "Delivery Ack" in the SMS folder, only "EnablePriorityHighLevel" and "PriorityHighLevel"

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Ignore that part of the hack... it seems that it is only for the PPC-6700 not the Mogul. As long as you do the other part of the hack as explained:

HKLM > Software > Microsoft > Inbox > Settings > SMSNoSentMsg make sure the value is 1

HKLM is short for  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

It is a registry location. If this still does not makes sense to you, you need to learn on how and why do registry changes.

Please search the forum... gaines has a good post on that.

Just popped-in to say two things....

THANK YOU Hai for these GREAT hacks!  Really improved the Mogul to the point of making it really useful now :D

To new users...READ THE LINK.  Just 'cos it says, 'hack' doesn't mean it won't crack your Mogul if you're not careful.  I'm an IT guy by trade, so this is just another day in Bill Gates' world.

Hello, I did not find anything regarding my issue with the Mogul and sync/time/calender issues. I have posted here as well but I cannot get the time on my laptop and the Mogul to sync, the time on my Mogul (whatever I want to set it too) ALWAYS goes to exactly 1 hour of the time on the desktop. Also, anything I post on my Outlook 2007 calender as say, 2:00 pm on Tuesday, it comes out as 3:00 on Tuesday on my Mogul. Note that anything I add on the Modul and sync, it makes it to the Outlook calender at the same time.

Any help would be appreciated,

thx

Rick

Not sure but it sound like a problem with the customized options. Have you check your time zone on your laptop and on the Mogul to point at the same zone/city?
What about day light savings settings on either the Mogul or the laptop.

Post your question under the Troubleshooting forum. You well get more help there.

Most likely a time zone issue...check under Settings -> Clock

I discovered, to my dismay, that the Mogul will not autoswitch time zones like all other phones.  This was very frustrating, though now that I know I can live with it.  It will update the current time/sync with the network just fine.  That part has me confused...it it syncs with the network, why isn't it syncing to the Network's time, not the time zone?  Odd.

That's a feature of WM6, FYI...not the Sprint implementation.  I'm sure it'll be addressed at some point in the future.

HAI-ZI!!!! ADD THESE INCREDIBLE TWEAKS TO YOUR FAQ!!!!

I found 'm referenced (out of respect for Gaines, i won't post where).

These will give you a serious extension on your battery life.  If not, you've a bad battery or are using a non-OEM charger...get a replacement battery from Sprint.  Everything below the bar is the 'quoted' material.

These WILL work, and WILL improve your performance!

Battery Life

A couple of us have tested this and found a nice increase in battery life. On my Treo 700 it seemed to do nothing but on the Q it greatly helped (I ran for 12 hours yesterday push email in a low signal environment and stayed at 4 bars battery--normally would have been at 2 or 3)
