On the tweak to make songs as an sms ringtone.  I moved a file over to the windows file, no problem, BUT when I recieved an sms the whole song played.  I couldn't get the song to stop playing.  Any suggestions?

You need to edit the song so only the part you want plays as the ringtone. You probably won't want it to play for more than 5 or 10 seconds. You can edit the song with HTC Audio Manager.

Most of them should work for the xv6800.

Regarding the tip: Eliminate accidentally dialing #777

I was using this earlier and I find it invaluable since I'm almost always in wifi so I didn't bother with a data plan. However, since installing the newest ROM from HTC, it no longer keeps the username I enter when I edit the Data Network and will try to connect on its own. Any ideas?

I had the same problem.  My workaround for it was to Create a dummy connection.

Tap on Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Manage existing connections > New

Name the connection to anything you like > Next enter any number (I put my cell number in) > Next > Finish.

Now make sure that the New Connection is selected, and click OK.  Now whenever it tries to connect will use your dummy connection to nowhere.

I remember seeing a post somewhere that shows you how to edit the Mogul's text messaging layout. Can someone link me to that?
