I'm trying to load a custom background on my Mogul.. but every image I send winds up looking incredably washed out (low contrast) and crappy when I put it on as my background image. Why is that, and is there any way around it?

To fix this....
Go to programs.. open "pictures and video"
Find the file you want to set as your bckground image
take your stylus.... tap and hold on the image... a menu will pop up
select "SET AS TODAY BACKGROUND"
Change transparency tp... 0%
that's it... - T

Yea.. I actually figured that out shortly after posting this. Thank you google ;)
Now.. what's the proper image size? It's not 240x320 considering the top and bottom of the screen get cropped afterall.

For some reason WM6 compresses the image, making it look like crap. Try creating a theme instead. It will preserve the quality of the image. You can download Microsoft's free theme maker here:
www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx
One thing though, if you use this program, on the last screen where it says advanced options, be sure to move the slider for image output to quality, all the way to the right, or your image won't look so hot.

Perfect, thanks!
Edit: The theme generator won't copy the themes over to my device, because it says it requires WM 2002. Where do I have to copy my theme files to? I guess I'll just do a file search.. but is there a newer theme generator out there for WM6?
Edit 2: Found ThemeGenie 2.0 to be pretty suitable, though it sorta sucks, it works.. and is better than the MS tool.
