Mixed reviews on Mogul hard cases. Some posts I read suggest the clasp can snag on things and "pop" open easily. Or feel like they might get loose over time. Any validity to the clasp being less than tight and accidentally dumping the precious Mogul to the asphalt? Others suggest the metal case can interfere with signal strength, any truth to that?
 One thing is for sure ... when I was browsing for hard cases I noticed one problem some shoppers may not be aware of, cases opening from the wrong side. 

Looking online I notice some cases open from Left to Right and some open from Right to Left. With the screen facing the user the Mogul keyboard slides out to the Right from under the screen. Or at least mine does ... OH NOOOOO! Just kidding!

The Correct case should open from Right to Left so when the keyboard slides out  it will be in a usable position.

The incorrect case will open from LEFT to RIGHT making the keyboard awkward or near unusable at best. Looks like the cases made by E-Trend are mainly the ones that open from the wrong side. I didnt even know about the opening problems but what you say makes sense.

I got the type of hard case the you pictured and havent had problems with the catch.

For me it's so tight that I have to use two hands to open it- I can see where over time, it may become loose. i've had my case for 1 week now.

Thanks for the feedback. The aluminum cases look good and the hard plastic screen protection is a plus. Did you get the Monaco model?

Are you finding any reception problems because of the metal case? Does the keyboard slide out comfortably?
