I always liked tcpmp, it is discontinued now but you can still get it from:
http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/
it is freeware and it supports lots of format, I discovered it while trying to play OGG Vorbis files.

I just downloaded and installed this app. It works great. This app will not show you radio stations... it plays streaming files. So you need to download a streaming playlist file to your phone and open it with this app. Below is the streaming radio station that i listen to for instance:

I just started using Mundu Radio (http://radio.mundu.com/). It's currently in beta. There are about 60 or so stations you can access directly through the program. Plus, you can add other stations to your playlist through their web page. It's not bad. I just wish the Mogul had a better speaker.

Last.fm creates custom streaming internet radio and I have written a player for mogul.
