1. Use the forum Search button to find any existing threads that address your problem.
2. If you find a thread by someone else with a similar problem but no resolution, post a reply to that thread instead of making a new one.
3. If you must create a new thread, make the subject descriptive. Don't just title your thread "I need help".
4. State the problem you're having and the things you've tried so far to fix it.
5. Be appreciative. If someone goes above and beyond trying to help you then nominate them for MVP.

Just to calrify, use the FORUM SEARCH not the search box on the upper right hand corner of the site. I was using that one and not getting any results.

I thought I would add pictures:  It's easy to overlook the obvious when your new to the group.  The forum has thousands of posts.  Chances are your answer is there.  Good Luck and have fun.

Click on the SEARCH button above the forum threads frame.  Do not use the SEARCH box at the top to search the forum.

 Enter your word/s and click either radio button to select All/Any Words or a Phrase, then Click on Search.

I just came across this! Oh my gush, for months now I was wonding why the searches never resulted as desired.... I really was always using the search box in the upper right corner.
