first off i dont have sprint i have cricket, get the cool phones flashed, well i used to have a motorola q. and i had that thing down...so easy to send pic, vids, either thru mms or bluetooth. great phone super easy to use...but wanted somthing that looks better...

so i know have th mogul, once again flashed to cricket. I cant send pic or vid or well anything in a text message other then text, so i guess their are programs to fix taht, i have tried them but they dont work (maybe because of cricket? maybe because i have windows 6.1?) so i am giving up on sending pic (witch is my fav things to do) and just try to do it bluetooth...but guess what??? i cant figure out how. i go into file explorer then go to the file i want to send...and i dont see a bluetooth option.

this reminds me of my other problem...how do you move files around? or make a new folder?

can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong to one of my problems...or maybe all of them??

I think you're a little confused, or maybe I am. Blue Tooth allows you to connect other devices to your phone. So I don't know what you mean when you say you want to send a pic with Blue Tooth. Maybe you're thinking about the Beam function, but that will only work if another phone is right next to yours.

I know exactly what he's talking about because I have been trying to find a way to do it too. This is the thing. When you pair your computer to your Mogul and/or any other Windows Mobile device, you can easy send a file to your PDA from long distances via Bluetooth. The problem that ign5 has, and by extension me, is the fact that we can receive via Bluetooth, but haven't found a way to send on this particular device. As he mentioned, his Motorola Q did it like a champ.

I'm trying to figure this out too, since I work on a lot of my college papers while on the Mogul and it's annoying to have to email it, when I should be able to just Bluetooth it back to the computer.

My personal experience with bluetooth device is they very with the software operation. what you guys might want to try a few things...

1) Make sure the two devices are paired up

2) Make sure bluetooth is turned on and the device is not on standby

3) from the device that's receiving, see if there's a recieve (accept incoming beam) option, if there is you might want to turn that on. I know on the Mogul, you'll need to have that turned on (Start --> Settings --> Connections --> Beam). On Windows try right click on the bluetooth icon on the task bar and see if there's a Recieve A File Option, I think the Mac has something similar

no does not really help... i am just like the other dude said trying to send objects (pics and vids and ringers) to other phones...not my computer.

why?

1. i dont have any mms program that works/

2. i dont understand the whole emailing thing (because i dont have sprint i have cricket)

3. their is no max of file size to send, on my q if i tried to send a pic it would have to make the file smaller to send it and it would look like crap, send it bluetooth it would be way faster and it would not have to shrink it, i could bluetooth send full songs, movies you name it!

4. if i had a service that charged me to send files...bluetooth send is free.

i al glad someone else feels my pain! if anyone finds a program or something please share, i am beggin you either to help me send pics as an mms, or bluetooth. thanks!

ok If you wanna send a file by Bluetooth, make sure your BT is on. Pair with the other persons phone. Then when you hold down on a file til you get the menu. On the menu there is a Send. Click Send. I know what your thinking it will send the file thru IR. Well your Half right. The IR sends will be one color and the bluetooth sends will be another color.. Try it.. holly cow you are right! i love you!!!! one more question, do you know how to move files around? like from my card to my phone and so on?

Same concept. Hold down on the file til you get the menu then you can CUT  then move to the new folder. Find a space in the folder that is bare. Somewhere you can hold down on the screen without highlighting another file and get the menu then paste.
