I've read a lot about the Mogul RAM running low and slowing down the PDA.

Have you guys run into this problem and will using something like Magic Button to close apps completely help to solve it?

I'm using Wisbar Advance 4 Beta which makes the close button actually close the app.

HTC X-Button does the trick as well.

Has there been any clue as to what is eating up the RAM and bringing it down to ~20MB when it should have about 49MB or so?

I have noticed that even using HTC X close I still am running low on memory after everything is closed and the only way to get it back is a soft reset. I have gotten down to between 12 and 15mb with nothing open. Anyone have any thoughts as to how to refresh the memory without the soft reset?

What home screen are you running? I read elsewhere there are a few home screens out there that are known to have memory leaks.

I'm only running the standard home screen, I do however have the Fizz Weather plugin running also.

Does anyone know the name of the program that defrags/releases memory on the PPC's? I read it somewhere and now cannot find it to save my life.

Thanks

i use the HTC X button 1.5 update and it works great and can even be customized to have the x button close prgrams by tapping or by holding.
