For those interested, I spoke to two Sprint reps yesterday (one in store and the other on *2) and they both confirmed to me that the Touch Diamond and Touch Pro are scheduled to be released by Sprint 1st/2nd week of September. The guy in the store mentioned it first and, not believing him, I called customer service and got the same answer. They both referred to an email that the company sent out out to the sales reps, so I believe it is true. Cant Wait! Hope the Raphael is way better than the Mogul for performance & reliability, I am getting quite fed up with my Mogul and its problems.

I can't wait for these two devices to launch. Unsure which I want until I test them both out. Its about time they launch some new WinMo devices. The last couple WinMo devices have been lame. I'm glad I picked the Mogul, but I am ready for an upgrade.

I can second that information. A friend who works with Sprint said early september, and he already knew about the stupid names. Unfortunately, he had no information on pricing.

I dont know if typing on the screen would be novel for me. The Mogul spoiled me with the pull out keyboard. Thats just me.

I did at one point say I would never give up the full slideout keyboard, but since I've said that, I don't need my keyboard so much anymore. I guess it depends on how much typing you plan on using. I might go for compact size over full keyboard access.

I will have to get the Touch Pro with a bigger battery, tv out, more ram, and the micro sd slot. I need more than 4gb of storage space for movies and music. The Pro is far better if you don't mind the size difference.

I think the MicroSD card will be the key for many people. I could probably live without the keyboard, but I know I'll be wanting more than 4gb of memory. Sure, I could always use something like Orb for basically unlimited storage, but streaming from Orb uses a data connection which drains the battery faster. I'd rather have the on board memory.

Am I missing something? 6G MicroSDHC (Sandisk) works fine in my Mogul, though I think I'll break down and get the Touch Pro when it comes out, instead of waiting for a $150 discount...

Yes, this was via PDANet and Google Web Accelerator, tethering my Mogul in a Rev A area with Rev 0 software:
