The green ads that disguise themselves as links and then pop up get annoying. Any chance we can get these removed if we're logged in?
Thanks!

That's an idea. I just didn't think anyone would be interested in paying for an ad-free version...but if there's interest we can set something like this up.

I don't mind having the ads, its just the pop up ones that are the worst. Any to the side or bottom are fine. I mean, someone/something has to pay for the site and he shouldn't have too. This is a great site that includes an all-in-one for the mogul without searching countless threads on hofo. Great Site!

I was thinking about that, I really dont mind the banners its just the windows live search popups i HATE. I would be intrested in an ad free version, if the price is right.

I'm not sure I'm interested in the pop-up ad-driven version.
I realize that this is a for-profit website but there is a balance to be attained between driving ad content and driving users away. Pop-up ads push the pendulum toward the latter.
My experience has shown me that attaching "IntelliTXT" style advertising results in lower conversions (in your case, membership signups) and a dramatically increased bounce rate. You're running Google Analytics, benchmark your bounce numbers for new users. I'll bet you a $25 gift certificate to the establishment of your choice that a) your bounce rate goes up at least 5% and that b) your conversion rate drops by 15%.
