I just had my first bill, Sprint adds in "Total Equipment Protection - $3 insurance premium, balance for service/repair" in my plan, which is $7, but I didn't pick up in my order, Do you think if it is good to have?
thanks

It would be foolish to own a Mogul and NOT have it. There isn't another carrier, to my knowledge, that has such an offer.

Yeah well worth it imo. $50 deductible but you get a new phone very quickly... usually next business day sometimes the following.
I've had a few phones that got wet, scratched, or lost and this always saved me.

This is something I will definately be interested when I order mine. I'm a little confused though. So how much extra per month does this cost? I remember trying to find info about this on sprint's website and it wasn't very clear.

Well there are 2 options still I think.
You can get just the $4 equipment protection which will cover damage done by you and you will have to pay the $50 deductable and go through the insurance company for replacement.
Or TEP which is $7/mo and covers any electronic problems with the device itself, freezing up, not making calls and so on and you can get a replacement through Sprint with no deductable plus you get the equipment protection too.

I think you have to call to just get the $4 option, it's sooooo nice having insurance.
I used it twice with my 6700 and got it replaced though Sprint for free both times and it was overnighted both times.
On other phones where I didn't have it, I was always worried about losing it, dropping it or whatever. Now I'm just like, hey if something happens I know I'm getting a brand new phone right away.
It's a really great deal for us Mogul owners because we have the Most Expensive Sprint phone and still pay the same as someone with a razr or whatever, I think some other carriers won't even insure PDA's.
