RTFM... ;)
JK.. I think the manual states it will support up to 32GB. Since obviously micros don't exist that are that big yet, it will support 6 and the 8's that are about to come out.

Interesting question, and even more interesting answer. I thought we only had 2GB micros.
Is there a capacity limit to how big the micro cards can actually get? Is it concievable to one day have a 32GB microSD card, or is it impossible due to physical limitations with the card?
Anyone know?

I know that SanDisk has an 8GB microSD card coming out sometime - http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/peripherals/sandisk-crams-even-more-bits-into-tiny-microsdhc-memory-cards-272810.php
I'm sure that by this time next year, the 8GB card will be reasonably priced and we might see 16GB cards being announced. I'm sure they'll find a way to cram more transistors into those tiny, tiny cards...

Nothing above 2GB is OFFICIALLY supported by HTC, so anything larger you run the risk of it not working.
Knowing that I know several with 4GB ones, and they all work. So you might get to a point where they don't work, but several of the 'unsupported' ones work...

From what I understand since the 8525, Telus, and Mogul were being released with WM5 they didn't list it as SD 2.0 compatable even though it is (as long as the WM6 is installed).
The thing is, SDHC (also known as SD 2.0) isn't supported in WM5, but is supported with WM6.
SDHC supposedly has a current limit of 32GB
The HTC devices that are coming with WM6 (like Kaiser) are listed as SD 2.0 compatable.

Excuse my ignorance. Still trying to get used to all the different details of this phone since I got it, but my Mogul came with Windows Mobile 6 installed. Does that mean, I can conceivably go with the highest Micro SD card available. Highest I've seen is 4GB.
Anyways, this is my first time dealing with a phone that has a separate card installed, so totally oblivious. Thanks in advance for any input.

Well it's been confirmed by many people that 4gb sdhc cards will work fine, Sandisk 4gb seem to not have any problems, a couple other brands, can't remember which, have reported problems. But they may have been "fake" cards, ones from like Ebay that aren't the kind or size they claim to be or just bad.
Sandisk cards seem to be some of the best priced cards anyways.
The higher gb cards should and will hopefully work fine.
