For those with the standard dialpad, is there a registry edit to improve its performance? If I have not reset the phone for almost a day and run my usual programs (epocrates, contacts, etc), then try to dial on the keypad, I notice an almost 1 sec lag between tapping the number and getting a response. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a good solution to this?

and search for Speed up dialing on your 6700

also, these programs that you are running might be running in the background without your knowledge, eating up RAM and making the Mogul sluggish. You can check if this is the case by going to Start --> Settings --> System --> Memory. This gets you to the task manager.

Just turn off the tones it generates for your benefit in the settings. Lag is gone then. It still send the phone company tones for banking, etc.
